The LRO Billing Show held at the Billing Aquadrome in Northampton is always an extremely popular Land Rover show attracting over 26000 visitors over 3 days.
The show opened on Friday the 15th with nice weather and a respectable turnout ensuring that the Trade and AutoJumble stands alike had plenty of interest from visitors. The campsite was full of tents and literally a sea of modified Land Rovers and Range Rovers of all makes and models giving added appeal to the show.
The second and third day was such a varied mixture of weather going from quite extreme heat to absolute downpours and strong side winds, but let’s face it, if you’re into your 4x4ing and Land Rovers, a bit of water and mud certainly won’t put you off the show.
There were some great displays and Land Rover competitions in the main arena for vehicle articulation etc which always created a big crowds of excited onlookers, with other entertainment such as the Mountain Bike Stunt Display team wowing the crowd with tricks and skills performed on top of a Defender!
There were other areas at the Billing Show should you wish to have a go over a purpose built ‘hump’ in a new Discovery or take your very own vehicle to the nearby off road course to get muddied up.
There was a lot to see and do, plenty of industry experts to chat to should you have any questions, problems or queries or if you just wanted to pass the time chatting to mutual minded Land Rover fanatics.
The Electric Winch Shop had a large stand in a prime location next to one of their main winch manufacturers Superwinch in order to give each other support.

There were certainly some good deals to be had with plenty of Land Rover enthusiasts going away with some brilliant Hi-Lift and winch products from Champion, Superwinch and Warn.
