Our ‘builders’ roof rack has to be our most popular, best selling roof rack system, incorporating a flat bed rack complete with handy rope hooks all round to securely tie loads down, side restraints for loading against and an essential single half width ladder roller to the rear of the rack to aid the loading and unloading of ladders (supplied on all lcv roof racks except those for the lowest vans where they aren’t a requirement). Our builders spec roof rack is the preferred & most suitable van roof rack for the majority of the construction industry and allied trades.
All our builders specification roof racks are designed and manufactured to take a 8’ x 4’ (2400 x 1200) sheet as a minimum. The roof racks are built in one fully welded piece and is supplied with fixing brackets, nuts and rubber protection pieces for where the steel meets the van gutters / roof making it quick and easy to fit. Even the roof racks that are over 12’ long, designed for the extra LWB vehicles, are only two pieces that simply bolt together.
All our steel heavy-duty van roof racks have been hot dip galvanised to BS EN 150, which protects the steel racks from the weather giving them added protection from the elements of 20 years plus.
Additional extras such as full width rear rollers, back door or detachable side mounted ladders are also available for most vans.
